The opening of our tasting room on August 2nd is the culmination of almost 3 years traveling a curvy road and taking a U-Turn or two… but it’s finally happening.
Back in 2011 we set out to build a brewery and winery in the same place, with a shared tasting room. After 18 months of working with officials to get the Sante Adairius facility open in Capitola, we ended up getting stonewalled on a technicality. The gov’t gave us a choice: a brewery or a winery. So we walked away from the brewing life and started over, looking for a place to showcase our wines.
All things happen for a reason, apparently.
Our new tasting room sits a half-block away from the bakery that was built by our winery’s namesake, Great Grandfather Sante Arcangeli. The location in Pescadero brings us back to our familial roots in a way that no other could. We are thrilled to be able to invite you in to experience a little slice of history in beautiful Pescadero.
