Grown at 1100’ elevation in Bonny Doon on a wide sandstone bench, this vintage may be our purest representation yet of this vineyard’s totally unique sandstone terroir. Lean and aromatic, with a bright acid backbone supporting a lightly-toasted core of macadamia and green apple. The signature sandy minerality of this one-of-a-kind vineyard is at the forefront of both the aromatics and the flavor profile.

“This Chardonnay is almost Chablisian—it’s bone dry, bristling with acidity, and modest in alcohol. There’s a lick of minerality to the lemon peel, apricot and buttered toast flavors that makes the wine tangy. It’s ready to drink now. 89.” – Steve Heimoff, Wine Enthusiast
